Sustainable development, a core commitment at O'biozz

For 17 years, O’biozz has been committed to crafting wooden wellness products in an artisanal and environmentally respectful way. Our mission is to create products that not only enhance our customers’ quality of life, but also contribute to the preservation of our planet.

We prioritize the use of wood from sustainably managed, FSC-certified forests. Each piece of wood is carefully selected to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency. We reuse and recycle offcuts to create new products or to heat our workshops. All wood waste is collected by our extraction and shredding system and transformed into briquettes that fuel our high-powered wood boiler.

As a craft business, we value local expertise and support artisans in our region. We provide fair and safe working conditions for our employees and are committed to promoting equality and diversity within our team. We also actively take part in community initiatives to support local development.

Environmental protection is at the heart of our work. We use natural, non-toxic finishes for our products and strive to reduce our carbon footprint by optimizing our production processes and using renewable energy sources. We also encourage our customers to adopt eco-friendly practices by providing guidance on the sustainable care of wooden products. Our wooden hot tubs are a concrete example: they offer a beautiful alternative to acrylic spas, which contain over 400 kg of various plastics that are difficult to recycle, while ours use less than 10 kg per unit—a truly inspiring difference. With our years of experience, we can confidently promote durability that surpasses that of today’s acrylic spas.

Each item we craft is designed to last, reducing the need for frequent replacement and promoting more responsible consumption. We carefully select our suppliers—for example, our covers are made in Barcelona, Spain, while over 90% of the insulated cover market is dominated by Chinese manufacturing.
